No, The League of Nations were an ineffective organisation as shown by the previous failed treaties such as the one at Turkey straight after WW1. It was such a awful and unfair treaty that the LON were forced to reconsider after a civil up-rise, also the incident at the Manchurian Crisis should them to be completely useless peacekeeping force.
So No, the Abyssinian Crisis did not destroy  The League Of Nations As An Effective Peacekeeping Body, because they never were effective as a peacekeeping body
