But then the obstacle you face is that if you have more frequent elections, you'll have more frequent campaigning and God knows our politicians already piss away their time well enough without having to go out and kiss babies and shake hands with people they could care less about - even more than they currently do.
But I do believe Jefferson was right, a government structure is only ever good for a short period of time, before it gets corrupt and useless.
The system needs a radical shake up every so often.
