The congress leaders epecially mahtma gandhi and abul kalam azad started the non cooperation movement in which they asked the non muslim to help muslim save their khlifa in turkey by non cooperating with britishers. But non could understand gandhi's policy which was to rebel against the britishers but from behind the muslim so that all the blame come on muslims and the britishers provide more rights to the hindus and when they quit india they hand over all the powers to the hindus and threfore gandhi started the non-cooperation movement.
