The Twin Towers or the World Trade Center was basically a seven building complex which was destroyed in terrorist attacks of September 11. It was located in the business center of Lower Manhattan.
The twin towers were part of the world trade center and each of them had 110 stories. They were 1350 feet tall and were built on one acre. On September 11, 2001, suicide Hijackers crashed a flight into the north tower at 8.46 a.m After some minutes another plane crashed into the South Tower. There were in total 2,750 people, who were killed due to the accident. Most of them were employees of the companies that had offices in these buildings. Some were firefighters, some were from the port authority and some were from police.
