This is a pretty touchy subject, IMO. Here in the United States, we treat the illegal immigrants better than we do our own homeless, our own veterans, our own hungry. That, to me, is totally wrong.
A nation should take care of its own first before extending a hand to help someone else out.
On the other hand, I do understand why the refugees are fleeing, but we cannot save everyone. It's a hard line to draw.
