The Democrats in my opinion as both Barack Obama and The President seem anxious to shut down the federal government over $61 billion worth of federal government spending that amounts to little more than excessive padding in the grand scheme of things. With one eye on re-election and staying in office, whilst struggling to manage the economy, it's a lose-lose situation as no President has won a second term since WW2, with unemployment and inflation at such levels.
