First Westerbork, then Auschwitz, and finally Bergen-Belsen. She died of typhus at Bergen-Belsen.

Anne Frank first went to Auschwitz. Her mother died there I believe. She and her sister managed to survive to be sent to Bergen-Belsen prison camp. Even though it's name is not as well recognized as some of the others, it was a notoriously inhumane camp. She and her sister Margot were ill with typhus. Supposedly, according to survivors who knew them, Anne would give her portion of food to her sister, since she seemed to be weaker. But only a little while after Margot died, Anne succumbed to the same illness. Typhus basically causes severe diarrhea, and so a person becomes so dehydrated that they can no longer sustain nutrition of any kind and their bodies literally fade to nothingness.
