You will find that writing a thank you speech is not going to be as difficult as you may have first thought. All you need to include is the different things that people have done for the homecoming program and what a good effect this has had on the church itself. You are also going to need to ensure that you include what the church intends to do in the future and how it wants to work alongside the public to ensure that everything within the community is going to be completed and sorted. The most important thing that you are going to have to make sure that you include is going to come from your own heart and the opinions that you have, thanking certain people is a good way to do this - these may have been the people who organizing the homecoming or made certain contributions.

It is going to be a good idea for you to ensure that you  keep the tone friendly and try to add some humor and this is going to make the speech welcoming and it isn't going to sound too formal which is only going to put people off the speech altogether. Writing for a homecoming is something that is going to have to be fun and well-presented so as long as you have written from the heart and thanked everyone and have mentioned all the hard work that has gone into the event itself.

You will find that writing the thank you speech isn't going to be as difficult as you may have first though, you are just going to need to make sure that it is as friendly and as welcoming as possible so people are going to be interested in what you have to say and so they are going to listen to you.
