How To Write An Appreciation Speech For The Church Musician?

      We are all to serve God, an appreciation speech to me seems highly inappropriate and laughable. We all have our calling, and a minister or musician or deacon is active in the church because they feel compelled to do so. It seems to me if you single one person out in a church, you are treating some with a higher degree of worth than others, and since God is not a respecter of persons as stated in the new testament, it seems that if you write one person a letter you write all one. I think if I had something to say, I would say it in Church, or have the pastor say it as a whole, but nothing that was written.
